Guangzhou Atoll Reef (in simplified Chinese 广州海洋馆) located in Guangzhou zoo. The Atoll Reef was opened to public since 1997 and is a place with pleasure to watch the beautiful aquatic animals and a place for you to see the scientific research done by many scientists and on the other hand, it is a place with educational information and multi-functional purposes as a whole in order to display the exhibition of marine fish for the main features of the blue underwater world.
The whole museum covers an area of 150,000 square meters, which is quite big for a atoll reef. Therefore, there are many different kinds of animals being kept here. The museum, stocking of more than 200 kinds of rare fish and other unique marine life, is very famous in Guangzhou.
